Meet Judge Tupper.
Hi, my name is Michael Tupper. If you live in Cleveland, McClain, or Garvin County - you live in the 21st Judicial District, where I proudly serve as your district judge. I have spent my entire 20-year career serving District 21! Throughout my judicial career, I have earned a reputation as a fair, consistent, and level-headed judge. My re-election campaign has presented me with an incredible opportunity to not only strengthen relationships but also develop new connections with families from across the district. It has been my honor to travel across our part of the state and connect with many of you.
My Supporters.
In addition to my diverse docket responsibilities, I have devoted myself to the development of innovative treatment courts. For 20 years I have worked diligently on the enhancement and improvement of these programs. These programs create alternatives to prison for non-violent offenders who suffer from addiction and other mental illnesses. As the presiding judge of Cleveland County’s Treatment Court and Wellness Court programs, I have a front-row seat in seeing people achieve sobriety and stability. These life-saving programs are intelligent, evidence-based, and successful strategies in reducing crime, reunifying families, and breaking generations of addiction, all while saving taxpayers’ money. The Cleveland County Treatment Court is a past recipient of the SOAR Award, given annually by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to the Most Outstanding Drug Court in the state.
Who You Elect as Your District Judge Matters.
My passion for the citizens of District 21 and expertise within the law are two main factors that drive me to create a welcoming and impartial courtroom experience for every citizen. I truly care about the people and issues that appear before me. I have been charged with the duty to preside over matters that affect virtually all aspects of a citizen’s life. With this duty comes a major responsibility–and one that I strive to carry with humility. Simply stated, it has been the honor of my life serving our community as district judge, and I am dedicated to continuing with this important work for another 4 years.
